DeliveryWhere goods are not shown as "Ex stock" or with a specific delivery time, e.g. 2/3 days, they may need to be specially ordered. In such instances the time for delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract. Speed Culture shall not be liable for any loss or damage whether arising directly or indirectly from delay in delivery.
Delivery of the Goods shall take place:-
- when they are loaded off the vehicle or other transport at the address specified by the buyer.
- where the buyer undertakes to collect the goods, when the are loaded on the buyers vehicle or transport.
Shipping and Handling
All our packages are delivered by insured carrier. It is the customer’s responsibility to check all packages for damage prior to accepting them as some products may be damaged during transit. Inspect all packages immediately in the presence of the delivery person.
Do not sign the delivery receipt as being "received in good condition" until the packages have been inspected. If in any doubt, sign the receipt as package received damaged.
In the event that damage has occurred, note the specific damage on the delivery note and have the delivery person sign it as verification. Retain all boxes and other packaging material as package may be subject to inspection by the carrier. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a denial for damage claim by the carrier.
The buyer shall be deemed to have examined the Goods within 2 days of time of delivery. If damage has occurred to the goods, contact Speed Culture within 48 hours to file a claim request. Unless notice of any loss or damage in transit is given by the Buyer and received by Speed Culture with 2 days after delivery the Seller shall be relieved and discharged from all liability in respect thereof. The Sellers liability in the case of loss or damage in transit shall be limited to repairing or replacing the damaged Goods or, as the case may be, the lost Goods and the Seller shall not be under any other liability whatsoever, including indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit.
Returns PolicyAs an individual consumer, your rights to cancel your order and return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm Note however that any change to the products which means that they cannot be restored to their original physical state will invalidate your cancellation rights.
Products that you no longer require may be returned for a refund, exchange or credit note subject to all the following conditions:
- All requests for return of goods must be made within 8 working days after receiving order and return must be approved prior to shipping.
- We receive the goods within 14 days of dispatch.
- All goods must be returned in unused and unaltered condition with original packaging (or better)
- You are a Consumer acting for purposes outside your business to which DSR's apply.
- Goods are returned by insured carrier with the carriage paid, otherwise Speed Culture reserve the right to charge for recovery of the items.
Any products not returned in accordance with these conditions may only be returned by agreement and may also be subject to a 25% handling charge and the initial cost of transport.
Any products that have been specially ordered cannot be returned.
Any products ordered by a business or a person acting on behalf of a business, or any person who has previously inspected the goods at a show or our premises do not fall within the Distance Selling Regulations and cannot be returned unless by prior agreement.
Refunds will not be issued on returns that are damaged during shipping back to Speed Culture until a claim has been settled with the carrier. Failure to comply with this return policy will result in a refusal of the shipment.
If you are retuning a product due to poor fitment or damage then we will require photographic evidence to support your return failure to supply this may result in your return being refused.
